Job description

"Masjid-based Children and Mass Education Program" project is one of the largest projects of Islamic Foundation. In order to involve the imams of mosques in the work of socio-economic development and education, the government in 1993 under the project of mosque-based children and mass education program pre-primary and Started the work of "Masjid-based Children and Mass Education Program" for drop-out teenagers and illiterate adults. Under this project, it has already completed 6 stages and is currently entering the 7th stage.


The size of the project has gradually increased and now the "Masjid-based children and mass education program" is playing a timely role in the expansion of education in the country. In this project, the imams of the mosque teach children and elderly students in various subjects including Bengali, Mathematics, English, Arabic, ethics and values in the mosque center. Donating to disadvantaged areas in remote areas of the country through this project, significant progress is being made in expanding pre-primary education in the country and increasing the enrollment rate of those who have completed the course in primary schools. - The number of students in the Primary Education Center is 30, the number of students in the Simple Quran Education Center is 35 and the number of students in the Senior Education Center is 25.


A total of 1256 educational centers including 480 pre-primary, 764 easy Quran education and 12 adult education centers have been set up in Naogaon district under the mosque-based children and mass education program implemented under the Islamic Foundation established by Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. At present, a total of 1213 educational centers including 466 pre-primary, 735 easy Quran education and 12 adult education centers are functioning. In the last 3 years 43,200 children were imparted pre-primary education, 77,175 students were imparted Quranic education and total = 1,21,575 people including 1,200 adult-learners along with religious and moral education.
